What a wonderful welcome to the beautiful city of Madrid! Marta was a fabulous guide, providing in-depth knowledge about the history and establishment of the city. The insight her archeological background brings to this tour is perfection! She also offered excellent suggestions on how to best enjoy modern Madrid. Luz did an excellent job of introducing us to the Roma neighborhood and leading us to great local eateries. Come hungry because we were so full we couldn’t eat the churros in the end! I especially liked the visit to the Medelllin market and trying fruits we had never eaten before.
